The Murray County Tourism and Recreation Committee has teamed up with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to place a informational kiosk at the site of the 1862 conflict between Native Americans and the settlers at Lake Shetek.      The kiosk will be located at Slaughter Slough Wildlife Protection Area outside of Currie.

The event will take place starting at 10:30 a.m.
