Murray County's first courthouse!

End-O-Line Railroad Park & Museum has received permission and support from the Murray County Board of Commissioners to construct a replica of Murray County's first courthouse which was located in Currie, MN.  Currie was Murray County's county seat from 1873 until 1890 with the exception of a time period between 1887-1888 when Slayton was the county seat during a contest for the county seat location.  The above photograph shows the original courthouse in Currie.  The replica building will be built to look like the building in the picture.  If you are interested in assisting us with this project, your monetary donations would be greatly appreciated.  They can be sent to: Courthouse Fund, End-O-Line Railroad Park & Museum, 440 N. Mill St., Currie, MN  56123.
